SEPTEMBER ARRIBADA IN COROZALITO

Turtles came mainly at night

Corozalito just had its second arribada! An arribada is an event where hundreds or thousands of Olive Ridley sea turtles come to the beach to nest at the same time! We take advantage of this time to record important data for our research. It is also a great opportunity to sea turtles nesting in daylight!

Thank you again to RIESTER Foundation who has being supporting this project since it started! .
